About Headington Market
Headington Market started trading in 2007 on London Road and New High Street in Headington and has been a popular fixture ever since. The market is run by the charity Headington Action and stall fees are used to support community causes and projects.
The market normally features 16-18 stalls offering a range of locally produced food and crafted products as well as carefully selected artisan delicacies from around the world.
In late March the Market took the difficult decision to suspend trading due to COVID-19. In early April the market 'reopened' online, providing customers and traders with a virtual marketplace. Traders have been hard at work providing customers with much-needed online ordering and home delivery services throughout the lock down.
On 4 July and under the supervision of Market Manager Ewan Tilbe, the market will reopen for Saturday trading at Quarry Hollow Park and will feature 10-12 stalls each week.
